Has the tail section in front of the Bf 109 been identified? It might provide a clue as to time and location.

That tail section at right looks from a Me 262.

It is a Me 262 tail, but no WNr that I can see.

This pic is part of J. Malan Heslop photographs shot at Brandis-Polenz the day that airfield was taken, 17 April 1945. The Bf 109 is IMHO an Erla built Bf 109 G-10. "Weisse 16" can be either an Erg. JG machine or an escapee form 5. Jasta der ROA.

As it is Brandis, could it be possible that the trolley in the front is part of a Me 163?
