A very original camouflaged Me 262 of KG (J) 54
Hi there Gang,
Thanks to Snautzer, here are some links to a very original KG (J) 54 Me 262 shot down in April 1945, photographed by James Giannopoulis: http://texashistory.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metapth437340/ http://texashistory.unt.edu/ark:/675...th436589/m1/1/ http://texashistory.unt.edu/ark:/675...th437130/m1/1/ Any informations about this particular machine ? Cheers Marc |

From the amount of dirt on the wings, I would guess a bomb or artillery shell landed close to it causing the damage.
