Dornier Do 26 over Bay of Biscay on 1.10.1942
 

Hi all,

I would like ask for help with identification of Luftwaffe flying boat.
311 Sq Wellington crew on return from A/S Sweep reported during day of 1.10.1942 "Do 26 at 14.37 at position approx 47.03N 08.49W"

As possible opponent I was able to find only Küstenfliegergruppe 406 equipped by Do18s, Do26s and Bv138s based at Brest-Süd.

Anyone could provide me any additional info from German sources to confirm/disconfirm my conclusion?
