B-24 in RAF Coastal Command

Hello everyone.

My name is Vit Vodička, I come from the Czech republic and I’m 18 years old. I’m interested in plastic models and I do a big project about B-24 Liberator and czechoslovak pilots in Coastal Command.

It concerns two czechoslovak pilots (Jan Roman Irving and Rudolf Nedoma), who flew together on the B-24 Liberator, specifically B-24 Liberator Gr.Mk.V, serial number BZ 782, letter "K" also named "Kitty" of No.311 Czechoslovak bomber squadron in September 3rd, 1943.

My question/request is: Do you own or have some pictures of this specific Liberator? If not, do you know anybody, who could own this pictures? Please, ask your friends, colleagues etc. It would be pleasure for me to pay tribute to this two pilots with a plastic model of this Liberator!

PS: If you have some pictures of Liberator "G", serial BZ 786 (September 27th, 1943), you can post them too :-)

Thanks a lot!

If you look in the books section of this site, you will see details of a book on 311 Sqn by Czech authors
