Marseille question

Hi all

Anyone know if HJ Marseille spent any combat time over or near Greece, and if so was he ever shot down in the area?

The short answer is no to both questions. In 1941 I./JG 27 briefly flew in operations in Yugoslavia, then redeployed to Italy and Sicily, then to North Africa in late April. He was on leave in Greece later in 1941.
