7./JG 2 Motto
 

Dear All,

With reference to John Weal's book entitled Jagdgeschwader 2 'Richthofen', page 48, I found an info that I would like to learn more about. The author has stated that the 7./JG 2 emblem motif was based on the Staffel's motto, which loosely translates as: "The thumb of the seventh presses in Chamberlain’s old hat".

I would like to read the aforementioned 7./JG 2 Staffel's motto in original, that is in German language, as it was written. If someone from the TOCH can assist me with this, it will be highly valued.
