Ju88 Volumes 1 & 2 by Crecy Publishing
Well I received both volumes today and the quality just doesn't seem to be up to the usual standards.
The pages are not attached to the book's spine and the only thing holding them in place are the pages glued to the front and back covers. I was going to order the JU52 book, but if it's of the same quality then I'll have to pass. Can anyone else comment on the quality since Crecy started publishing the Classic series? |

The copy of the Ju 88 vol. 1 I examined was OK in quality, so maybe you got faulty copies?
In general, I have been told that binding quality has definitely reduced over the years and that book club editions of the 1970s tend to have better binding than standard editions of today. |

Two copies were damaged and replacements were sent. Two were completely detached from the spine, including a replacement copy, and the other two have gaps between the spine and the pages.
I emailed Crecy last week and they have yet to respond. Quote:

That's not good news...

I would like to know if the books have plans of the many variants.
Many thanks. |

Dazman, care to take a photo of that "gap"? The way you describe it may indicate that there is nothing wrong with the binding per se.
