A Composite Bf 109 E Wing?

Dear All,

I would require experts' opinion on the eBay photo here http://www.ebay.de/itm/Me-109-Flugze...item487d73b68a

Would this be an evidence of a field modification of a canon-armed aircraft, say Bf 109 E-3 model, wing to install an MG 17 machine gun instead, thereby creating the so-called composite wing?

Not my particular area of interest, still I found the photo with apparently the marked up area for the machine gun position interesting.

Regards,
Sinisa

Hello,
no, this was standard! Each wing can either hold an MG 17 or an 20mm MG FF.
