Luftwaffe Crash Mol-Wezel Belgium
Hi,
I'm searching for some information. Today i heard two different story's about a Luftwaffe crash in Mol-Wezel, Belgium 1) At november 5th, 1940 a Luftwaffe aircraft crashed at "Mol-Wezel Statie" (railwaystation). Pilots where captured in Mol city bij French soldiers. 2)At the end of the war (43/44??) a plane crashed at Mol-Wezel-Statie. A pilot hung in the trees, and an anotherone with a red ribbon in his trousers (FLAK officer?) sat with his head on his hands (he also died) on "a table"... a source thought it was a Focke Wulf... (maybe a recce plane?) Maybe two different stories? Maybe 1, with faults... I know it is "poor info" but what are my options? Is there a good website where i can find more info about aircrafts / order of battle above Belgium.... In a few weeks i will meet a person who saw the plane... I want to show him several pictures to identify the aircracft. regards, Wim Mol-Belgium |
