Wreck in Alikianos of Crete
Hello,
Any ideas about that wreck in Alikanos/Crete (1941) thanks Byron |
Re: Wreck in Alikianos of Crete
Hi Byron
Do we know that the wing belongs to the tail unit? Cheers Brian |
Re: Wreck in Alikianos of Crete
Hi Brian,
unfortunately, i haven't got a clue Byron |
Re: Wreck in Alikianos of Crete
It seems to be a Ju 52, am i mistaking?
|
Re: Wreck in Alikianos of Crete
It certainly is, Byron. Now from which KGrzbV, that's the next challenge ;)
Cheers Marc |
Re: Wreck in Alikianos of Crete
Hi Marc,
this is a very interesting pic, it would be a pity if we couldn't find out at least the unit or the exact date of the loss. This would lead us to more details. Byron |
Re: Wreck in Alikianos of Crete
Τhis Nr. 9 on the tail is doubtless fake, any objections?
|
Re: Wreck in Alikianos of Crete
I object Byron. To me it seems genuine.
Cheers Marc |
Re: Wreck in Alikianos of Crete
isn`t it to bright Marc? and what does it means? Staffel 9?
Take a look on the second picture of the same wreck, there is nothing to see |
Re: Wreck in Alikianos of Crete
Unsure about the brightness. As for the "9" missing on the second picture, the angle of the pic makes the fin mask that segment of the rudder. I still believe this "9" is genuine.
Cheers Marc |
