Short Stirling BK725
 
Hi,

16 April 1943, this Austin Motors built Short Stirling, met its fate after attacking Manheim, Germany.

Understand the a/c was shot down by e/a does anyone have the name of the Luftwaffe pilot/crew and times of the air combat

Many Thanks Chris and udf_00 for your help,

Met Stan Everiss (nav on BK725) son at Chelsea Flower Show who had done an artisan garden entitled 'The Evaders Garden' reflecting the courage of the French resistance and the bond that formed between them.

Thought it would make an interesting article.
