Hello all,

I found a, at least to me, new picture of a Fw190D-9 at Fürth. It seems to be taken in the winter 1945 and the Dora most probably belonged to a ferry unit.
Source is a tremendous three volume opus covering the air war over northern Bavaria; "Luftkrieg von Aschaffenburg bis Zwiesel" by Harald Dill and Karlheinz Hetz.

Yes Michael, I have never seen that before, it's a new one for me to.
From the national markings I'd say that it was built by Weserflug or Mimetall. If I should guess it would be Weserflug in the 400000 W.Nr. range.

Snow is reflecting quite a bit of light on the lower surfaces of the wings and makes the structure very visible! Really nice image Michael.
Would you mind letting us all know in few words your opinion and content review of the books? They are not so expensive for the three volumes... if worth for the content. :)
