Fw Walter Meudtner I(3)/JG51 26.9.40 Service History Wanted
 

Hi,

Do anyone have any information relating to Fw Walter Meudtner I(3)/JG51 Crashed 26.9.40? His service life with JG51?

I believe he was involved in combat with RAF fighters over Dungeness and crashed into the English channel, believed missing at the time of the incident.

Was his body ever recovered after this combat?

I have some of this & I know you have PM'd me. Yes it was a combat with RAF fighters & he is missing. He & his wingman claimed 2 Hurricanes before he was shot down-how he was then lost is not certain
