Hubertus von Eschwege 14./JG 53
 

Hello !

Fahnenjunker Hubertus von Eschwege was pilot in 14./JG 53.
He was killed on the 14.4.1945. 14./JG 53 flew ground attacks
near Crailsheim/ Rastatt that day.
This is what i have found:

14.04.45 14. Fhj. H.von Eschwege + airfight,unknown place 100% K-4

Can anybody of you provide more details concerning his loss?
Unknown place? Is he still missing?

More details found with friendly support by the family von Eschwege:

Hubertus, Gernard, Elmar von Eschwege
born 4.4.1924 at Kassel
He was burried on a private graveyard, which belongs to the
family von Eschwege, near Aue/Wanfried, Hessen.
Only known location of his crash side: Near Böblingen.
Is it possible, that 1.Lieutenant Irvin E. Stuff from 111. TRS shoot
him down?
Is it possible to locate his crash side?
