Luftlandekorps

Hi colleaugues,
could you help me to identify this unit: Luftlandekorps or Luftlande Korps Student?

It was probably subordinated to Luftflotte 2 in 1940...(?)

I think it was ad hoc headquarters (command) for planned invasion of England (operation Seelöwe)...

Or is it "short-name" for any corps strenght command?

Any information would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Re: Luftlandekorps

Luftlandekorps Student was "an der Kommandoweg aufgestellt" for a duration not to exceed 6 months. In other words, it was an ad hoc command informally set up to perform a short term task. In this case, the command was subordinate to Luftflotte 2 and responsible for the planning, preparation and execution of the 10 May 1940 participation of airborne and air landing troops in the invasion of Holland. The HQ of this command was disbanded before the end of May. It had nothing to do with the intended invasion of England.
