6th May 1944 - Uffz. Günther Lückenbach of 10/JG11

Hello all,

Uffz. G. Lückenbach shot down on 6th May 1944 over Aalborg Mustang Mk. III (FX955) of 19. squadron RAF piloted by F/O Eric Lionel Germain (KIA). I´m looking for information about Uffz. Lückenbach´s Fw 190 for this mission. Could be his plane this particular Focke Wulf 190: Fw 190A-8 Werk Nummer 173047 "Schwarze 13" ?

Any idea will be warmly appreciated

Nope, that A-8 was the plane in which he was killed on 15.08.1944. This Fw 190 was built in July and therefore not "available" in May 1944....

Hi John,

thank you very much for your prompt reply. I´m not a Luftwaffe or Fw190 expert, but it is clear now that he flew another Fw 190 on that particular mission.
