20 April 1945: N° 3 Sqdn vs Fw 190 D-9

The famous French ace Pierre Clostermann claimed 2 "Doras" near Lake Dummer, south of Hamburg, in the evening of 20 April 1945.
Has anyone any clue as to which LW unit they belonged to?

JG 26 - although Don Caldwell was unable to identify them

Hi Chris,

From AIR 40/2373: "1934-1956: 1 or 2 Gruppen of JG 26 operated, possibly in the Boitzenburg/Hagenow area. A/c set course at 1937. At 1952 Allied fighters were sighted below, and there was evidence of combat."
