AENDERUNGSTUEB or AENDERUNGSTUFB

Hello everyone,

I’m doing some research on a Ju188 Typenschild and came across a German term with which I am not familiar. I think it is either: AENDERUNGSTUEB or AENDERUNGSTUFB. I believe that the “Aenderungs” portion means “modify,” but the last four letters are a mystery.

The word is »Stufe« = step or stage or level.

It is a typical "Level of Change" data plate...many Ju88 had them, as well as Fw190, Me109, Ju7, Me110, etc.
