Bf 109 E Stammkennzeichen

Can anyone please tell me whether CA+NK was modified from E-1 to E-3 and its history and the full code of a Bf 109 seen on III/JG 26 last two letters +EV?

The Bf 109 E-3, W.Nr. 1361, was one of a batch of mostly E-3s with a few E-4s built by Erla late in 1939 and into 1940. After it was selected for modification, it became the V26, and participated in various extended range fighter-bomber tests associated with the new E-7. I understand it was written-off following a crash sometime in August 1940.

Hijacking Chris post.

Since her recovery in he 90's, has anything further come of the Stkz of Erla built Bf109E-3 W.Nr1407 (previously with II/JG77 and lost with 14./JG77 in July 1941.)

She was handed over to the Luftwaffe on the 28th November 1939.

regards,

MS
