Found a large list of US aircraft serials, but I could not find this one...

Found for this SB2C-1C: "Assigned to NAS Barbers Point, Hawaii, on 4-Sep-44"

This aircraft made a forced landing near NAS Barber's Point when its engine failed on 19 September 1944. It was not repaired.
