"Peter Schmoll, born in 1952, former director of a large plant fire brigade, has been engaged in the early 70s with the history of the air raids on Regensburg and aircraft production by Messerschmitt. Visits to archives in Germany and abroad as well as interviews with numerous witnesses, revealed a unique collection of reports, photos and documents. These were the basis for this book."

Dear All,

It's a second edition, some 254 pages versus 240 in the first. The best I can tell is that the additions are more covering the effects of the bombing of Regensburg, itself. If anyone buys this, please let us know whether the new material adds anything to information on the airfield at Obertraubling or the Me 262 production sites.
