SM81 shot down 19/10/41 off Lampedusa

Hi guys

Two Hurricanes from Malta shot down an Italian tri-motor on 19 October 1941 off Lampedusa, claimed as an SM81.

Has anyone details of its identity and crew, please?

Hi guys

Regarding the 'SM81' - it seems that it may have been a Ju52 of III/KGzb.V1
flying from Italy to Tripoli.

Any ideas?

I have no Ju 52 loss on 19.10. However:
1941-10-20, III/KG.z.b.V. 1, Ju 52/3m, 6305, Bei Lampedusa
Jägerbeschuß. Bruch 50 %.
1941-10-20, 10./KG.z.b.V. 1, Ju 52/3m, 5844, Tripolis
Bordmechaniker Gefr Hoffmann, Erich, verletzt
Bordschütze Gefr Schilke, Herbert, verletzt
Bordschütze Gefr Schmitz, Wilhelm, verletzt
Absturz infolge Jägerbeschuß. Bruch 100 %.
