Stab 1/NJG2

Hi , my first thread here. I am looking for info on Werner Lipphardt, died March 26, 1942 buried at Catania.

Looking for crew member names and cause of aircraft loss.

Hello ,

Do you know if he flying personal. Ther is no trace of him in the book " Die personellen Verluste der deutschen Nachtjagdgescwader 1940-1945 " by Veit Scherzer.

Wow, that was fast, thanks.

Werner served with KG76 from 5/41-9/41 and then to St 1/NJG2.

He was awarded the Observers Badge, EK II and the Front Flight Badge in Bronze.

Unfortunate to have crashed after take off, I wonder if it was mechanical problems or weather?
