Does anybody know any information about this scene? It looks like a beautiful woman (actress?) arriving at an airport on a Lufthansa Ju-90.

Hard to say since the image of her is so small but it does have a strong chance of being her.

The time frame and environs seem to make sense .

Here's a pic of Carola Höhn, taken at the time of her visit with Joachim Müncheberg. The hair style looks the same as the woman in the Ju 90. Who knows?

The photo in post # 6 is reproduced on page 108 in Donald Caldwell's The JG 26 war diary, volume 1. The female is actress Carola Höhn, and the place is Gela, Sicily.

Arved Crüger, her husband, became Kommodore of KG 77 in March, 13, 1942. He was shot down fatally over Malta nine days later.

From discussions with former members of the Wespengeschwader at reunions, Crüger was not impressed that pin-up photos of his girlfriend, later wife, adorned the crew rooms of the unit.

Not surprised, really, but she was a well-known film star...
