Information concerning loss of Oberleutnant Ludwig Schrodl - killed 04.06.1942

Hi

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Oberleutnant Ludwig Schrodl who was killed on the 4th June 1942?

He is shown on his prayer card celebrating 100 combat missions and looks like he flew several of these over Afrika.
