Detlev Großfuß - 5 July 1944
 

Hi guys

Oberleutnant Detlev Großfuß (20 victories, DK-G) of 9./JG 2 was wounded in aerial combat with USAAF P-47 fighters near St André on 5 July 1944. Is the usual loss list information known of the aircraft he was flying? Any information on this fellow would be greatly appreciated.

According to "La Luftwaffe face au debarquement alie" by Frappe, he was flying a FW-190A-6, Werke Nu. 470774.

Interesting thread about Grossfuss -I was wondering if there's any info on the identity of the Thunderbolt(s) that hit Grossfuss' Fw190 on 5.7.44?
