The Italian S.79 bomber in the last album
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Fotoalbum-Luf.../121853218266? (in the middle of a page) carries a very unusual camouflage. What a pity there's only one photo of it. |
Re: Photos + 1 2 1016
Thank you, Ed.
The 6th photo before the last would be captured Avia B534 fighter, possibly March 1939? I doubt whether the Germans captured any then still Czechoslovakian fighter when they annexed the Sudetenland in October 1938. |

Hi, The AVIA B534 Was part of the Deutsche Luftfahrt Sammlung exhibition in Berlin the aircraft had been in Luftwaffe service for some time and was repainted for this exhibit as was the Hurricane Mk.1 which shows the code 1+4 in other pics that are around .

The Italians used a number of camouflage schemes, although I don't know of any non-standard schemes. Scroll down to see the different types. http://www.stormomagazine.com/RegiaA...sinWWII_3a.htm Ed |
