Hello

F/L L McAuliffe (on Tempest NV774) and F/O D G C McLeland (on NV670 - X), both from 222 Squadron, claimed a machine from 6./KG 76 north of Quackenbrück around 17:15hs, according to the excelente 2nd TAC AF volume 3, pg. 452 (Shores and Thomas).

Do not have the crew names, though...

Hi Nick,

Thank you very much indeed for your Information`s ... I Think that it was now Fw Bäumler which bailed out from the Loss near Petershagen / Minden. There was no other Loss in the vicinity of Minden that Day and Reserve Hospital in Rinteln is in the Area near Minden and Petershagen.

Any Info`s about the Arado 234 from III / KG 76 ???

Thank`s for helping me !!!

Hi Dirk, there was an article ' Opferlug der Arado- Die Brucke von Remagen' by Werner Girbig in Flugzeug magazine no3/1993, if of interest to you I could scan and send you a copy if you are happy to PM me an e-mail address,

Brian,

Would it be possible to share this article here, if it is not too long? I remember reading Clostermann's memories about chasing an Arado 234 around Remagen...maybe on that article there will be the full loss list.

I guess that others which are interested on those actvities (Ar 234) will be interested on reading it too.

Thanks a lot
Adriano
