code for Bf 110 G-2 remanufacturer/repair works
 

I found an interesting photos of a Bf 110 G-2 (probably) with a symbol of ovehaul / repair.
The code is hpq or npq or npa or hpa. Unfortunatelly the canopy framing hides some of the letters and q and a (???) are written handmade in strange manner of painting.
The date is 12.8.44.
The plane was assigned to Blindflugschule B38

What was the repair works?

hpa = Arbeitsgemeinschaft Holzindustrie, Johannes Haupt, Baumeister, Possendorf b. Dresden.
hpq = Bachmann, von Blumenthal & Co., Flugzeugbau, Fürth/Bayern.
npa = Otto Dahmann & Co., Graphische Kunstanstalt, Wüppertal-Barmen.
npq = Elektromontage-Gesellschaft, Jngenieurbüro, Görlitz.

Of the four codes, only hpq obviously relates to an aircraft firm.

It (i.e., "hpq") is the code for Bachmann, von Blumenthal & Co., Flugzeugbau, Firth/Bayern.

Interestingly, "hpr," "hps," "hpt," "hpu," "hpv," and "hpw" are all firms dealing with aircraft also. For example, "hpt" is Avia and "hps" is Fieseler.

Bachmann and Blumenthal was indeed involved in repairs/conversions of Bf 110s.
