Uffz. Günter Sitzler KIA 07. April 1945
 

Hello,

looking for all Information`s about Uffz. Günter Sitzler, Unit unknown, some Statements mentioned that he was Pilot of I./JG 301 otherwise JG 27.
Sitzler was killed by american AAF on 07. April 45 in the vicinity of Coppenbrügge / Bisperode. Buried later in Salzderhelden.

Hi streak98,

Don't know what kind of research your doing but on the 7th of April 1945 I was flying escort to the bombers hitting targets in the area that Uffz. Stitzler went down. I have a copy of our Groups (20th Fighter Group) after action report that gives a summary of what happened on that mission from our point of view. If your interested I could send it to you by e-mail.
