translation of coordinates
Hello,
I look for the translation of its coordinates in latitude / longitude. 94 Ost N/BT-7/8 Flers BT-7 to CT-1 Domfront-Mayenne |
Re: translation of coordinates
Hi Dan,
That will be very difficult, because your information is totally corrupted. For a converter please see Luma on this page: http://www.gyges.dk/reporting_grids.htm My guess is that it should be 04 Ost N. kind regards SES |
Re: translation of coordinates

My coordinated 28 June 1944. 06.28.44. Oblt. Hiebl Georg. 1./JG 11 Spitfire. BT-79 / CT 1: 1500m [Le Teilleul 180] 21.38. 06.28.44. Ofw. Jochim Berthold 1./JG 11 Spitfire. BT-7 to CT-1-Mayenne Domfront 21.42. 06.28.44. Uffz. Rathofer Fritz 3./JG 1 Spitfire. Ost 94 N / BT-7/8 Flers 1,500 m. 21.36. |

Re: translation of coordinates
Hi Dan,
94 Ost N - Is the area of southern Mongolia... I Recommend to look at (russian): http://airfields-wwii.ru/tools/jagermeldenetz.html regards, Kirill |
Re: translation of coordinates
Thank you I understand the principle of the cards. There was an error in the records of the claims in the microfilm. 94 Ost error. 04 Ost.
Kirill thank you, OK card. But Kleintrapez + Meldetrapez. BT07 for me. Why the AA card UU is not to the west of France? |

Re: translation of coordinates
at the bottom of the card write in the desired fields "15 WS" and "UU51"
you will see Caen... correctly 15 West S/ UU-5x - SE Caen |
