Upside Down Hurricane
Looks to be in northern France, with code letters "RE", which should be those for 229Sq.However, even after going through FCL I, I could not find it. 229SQ went to the Middle East in 1941, so it did not fly over France for too long.
This may have been the subject of an earlier post ( I feel age is eroding my memory) |

Re: Upside Down Hurricane
Hi Bertrand,
Would love a copy of that photograph, without the addition, to place with his entry on the Monument Web page. Do you know who bought it? Gerry |
