Wellington Crash le Havre 1~2/04/42
I'm looking for information in regard to the crash of a 12 squadron Wellington in woodland near Ste-Opportune-la-Mare 1~2/4/42 after a raid on le Havre. My father the 2nd pilot plus most of the crew were captured and interned for the rest of the war.Has the site been found or is there any record held anywhere in regard to this crash?
Any help would be appreciated. Rick |

Hi Peter,
Thanks, I do have this info. I'm now looking for the more personal side - are there details of the actual site, photos, etc. Trying to fill in a part of my father's life that he never spoke of (as are a lot of others I would guess). Regards Rick |
