JG1 Fw-190A w/ victory markings
From a long expired E-Bay auction. The emblem on the nose looks like the winged "1" of JG-1. The code is yellow 5 and the tail has four rows of victory markings.
Any ideas who flew this plane? |

Wonderful photo, kaki. Is it appropriate (do you mind) if I inquire as to the camo and fuselage color (and other details beyond the pilot) in this thread?

Re: JG1 Fw-190A w/ victory markings
Hi, could be Hans Ehlers, Yellow 5 possibly an aircraft of 3./JG1 and he was stkpn 3./JG1 at the end of 1943. His over 30 victories claims fit with the rudder bars. Regards

Wow, that's great news. I always admired Hans Ehlers and others such as Otto Bach who flew with II/JG-1
