Uffz Karl Bugaj 11./JG 1 Claim Location 28 Aug 42
 

On 28 Aug 42 Uffz Karl Bugaj 11./JG 1 claimed a Spitfire at 13:10. The location is given as 426 3C4. These co-ordinates don't appear to fit any of the various co-ordinate systems (Gradnetz, Luma etc). It is possible these co-ordinates are incomplete, though they don't seem to fit any of the online converters I've tried.

On the same day Uffz Albert Brett 11./JG 1 claimed a Spitfire at 13:00 at 514 4G1 (S.W. of Tilburg). I'm assuming Brett and Bugaj were involved in the same combat so therefore Bugaj's claim would have been in roughly the same area (Dutch-Belgian border).

Can anyone provide a location for Bugaj's claim or enlighten me as to the co-ordinate system used.

According to Prien/Bock Uffz Brett belonged to the 10./JG 1, so I am not so sure if they were flying together.
