Can someone tell me what is written on these photos?

Hello Rudi!

Very difficult! I have shown your pictures to a 94 years old lady
this morning and she told me: "Sauklaue!!!!"(very bad handwriting!)
There are 2 different handwritings.

1. Uffz. Seyfarth
Ferntrauung von Christa
..... und Ewald
am 31.3.42
2.Uffz. Seyfarth
Ferntrauung 31.3.42
..........(?)

Ja - very komisch and a typical reaction from this old german lady. I would say the same. Eine echte Sauklaue. Pig Claw....rofl :rolld:

Thank you for your help. Very much appreciated.

I never realised a proxy wedding existed in Germany in WW2. I always thought it was something from medieval times.

Good morning!
These weddings were also known as Stahlhelmhochzeit.
Because at the registry office the bridegroom was substituded
by a steelhelmet.
