He 115 lost at sea in 1940, south coast of GB.
 
this message is intended for prospective specialists or enthusiasts seaplane HEINKEL 115 squadron.

November 1st 1940, a patrol of two He 115 was intercepted by a spitfire (64 sqd) a Heinkel 115 was shot down on the south coast of england.
I would like to know :
- If He 115 was a Floatplane Küstenfliegergruppe 106?
- He came from Holland or Brest -Hourtin?
- What was this flying boat (serial and code ???)
- Who were the crew members ?

Considering the report of the pilot, it should not be that surprising that victory was considered probable and no He 115 was lost (according to Les Hydravions de la Luftwaffe Vol. 2).

Sorry, but no He 115 or any similar seaplane was reported shot down on that date or the day before or the day after.
