Good morning, could anybody help with the first names and functions of Uffz.Ganter and crew who failed to return from ops to London 27.9.40
Believed crashed in the sea. 4/KG77 W.Nr.4140 3Z+LM.

Also from KG77 4.10.40 that of Uffz Herold and crew lost in similar circumstances. Ju88A-1 W.Nr 3160 3Z+HL 3/KG77.

Junkers Ju88A (4140). Failed to return from bombing sortie to London. Believed shot down by fighters and crashed in sea. Fw. Karl Nölp (F), Fw. Friedrich Scheibner (B), Uffz. Karl Ganter (Bf) and Obgefr. Erich Möttig (Bs) all missing. Aircraft 3Z+LM lost.

3/KG77.
Junkers Ju88A (3160). Bombing sortie to London. Shot down into the North Sea off Southwold, Suffolk, 10.10am. Stabfw. Erich Hartmann (F), Uffz. Walter Herold (B). Obgefr. Heinrich Hackmann (Bf), Gefr. Alfred Simbrick (Bs) all missing. Aircraft 3Z+HL lost.
