Unidentified part of aircraft in Southern Greece

Dear friends,

Lately a friend of mine found this part of an aircraft in Southern Greece.
The exact location were relic was found is at the mountains north of Monemvasia ( Logari ).

Can anyone identify that relic?

The part looks to me to possibly be a propellor hub for a 3 bladed propellor. As to what plane it is from I have no idea. There is a photo here of what is identifed as a B-17 hub still attached to the front part of an engine.

You can see some "similarities", but yours does not appear to be the same.

If you could get the dimensions on your part or identify some markings it might be possible to narrow the search.
