Dears,

I am looking for information about all downed Luftwaffe aircrafts in area of: Pölitz , Stettin , Altdamm , Gollnow on 29 May 1944.

(Any idea who from LW pilots could be hitted ? - see attached information)

Hi Chris

My information is that Lt.Starnes and Capt.Thury (both 505FS/339FG) shot down two Fw190 NE of Stettin at 13.55. These Fw190 are from the 9./JG11. Oblt.Friedrich Kälber (Staka 9./JG11) and his Rottenflieger Ofw.Wilhelm Schmidt were killed. We located both crashsites in the vicinity of Templin.
Also we have eyewitness reports.
