11 Air Gunnery School, Isle of Man
Does anyone have any photos of 11 AGS during the war, I've tried numerous forums but nobody seems to have any. There are none in the unit ORB. Im trying to find a course photo with my uncle in it.
Thanks |

No pictures (yet?), but some more general info that may lead to one.
See http://www.forgottenairfields.com/un...reas-s961.html Indeed Ansons, Wellingtons and also Masters, Martinets and Spitfires. Regards, Leendert |

Thank you both, I have been in touch with the local museum and they don't have any photos of personnel, they did have a couple of photos of the buildings but no course photos. I find it really strange that there are no course photos, all of the other training establishments that Ive looked at have course photos.
I live in hope. Thanks Daz |

I realise now 11 AGS was at RAF Andreas, which I must admit I have not heard of before!
Knowing the base sometimes helps with searching the web https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAF_Andreas |
