possibly Wekusta loss 11.09.1944

Question to LW losses specialists:

Need ordinary information on plane and unit info on the loss of Fw. Friedrich Emmels, crewmember of He-111, lost on September 11, 1944 in Warsaw area.

Note that Emes seems to be the only survivor in this accident. He was captured after landing on his shute. Others perished together with Soviet pilot Maj. Lunkin of 133 IAP who rammed this He-111.

The aircraft belonged to Luftbildstaffel 1, Kommando Hildebrand. It was flown by the crew of Oblt. Schulz on 8.08.44 from Hildesheim to Thorn.
