SQ+MX He111H-16 161260
NO+V Bf109G-6 ND+V Ju88A-5 NQ+U Ju88C-6/Ju-w34 Nothing for the NQ+V Rémi |
Re: Two Stammkennzeichen
Thanks Rémi,
NQ+AU was a signals aircraft destroyed at Trondheim on 26 or 28 April 1940 NQ+AY was Ju 52, W.Nr. 58634 associated with KGr. 100 in 1940 |
Re: Two Stammkennzeichen
Hi - I have NQ+VA as a Ju 52/3m - W/Nr 5480. 10./Ln.Rgt.40 dated 29.09.42
The only source I have for this is the Stkz lists from Peter van Gogh Regards Tom |
Re: Two Stammkennzeichen
I also have Ju 87 D-5, W.Nr. 142083, NQ+TC (V8+BD of 3./NSGr. 1).
There seems to be a common thread of Junkers types here. |

Nick
Your Ju 52/3m WNr 58634 (KGr 100) in 1940 looks odd. Seems to be one digit too many? Can you confirm? Cheers Stig |
Re: Two Stammkennzeichen
5458 is NQ+AV
NQ+AU was 5480 Rémi |
Re: Two Stammkennzeichen
It could refer to the Werk Nummer of the motor — the wording is ambiguous:
CX/JQ/493/17 |
Re: Two Stammkennzeichen
No that is the right Wn of the plane, I hv 3 occurances for the NQ+AY, one time 5860, 2 times 5863, most probably the Wn hv to accepted as 5863
Rémi Ultra for same plane gives 3 diff. Wn, re-transcription not always at best it seems .. |
Re: Two Stammkennzeichen
Hi - I can confirm that NQ+AY with W/Nr 5863 and NQ+AZ with 5864.
But I have the W/Nrs for NQ+AU and NQ+AV the other way around with AU 5458 and AV as 5480. It would appear that NQ+VA is a typo of NQ+AV, hence the same W/Nr. Regards - Tom |
