I believe you are talking about 2 people-Egon Mayer of JG 2 or Conny Meyer of II./JG 26 (and III/ZG 26 before that)?

I'm talking about Egon Mayer of JG 2 (I've never even heard of the other), who is sometimes, perhaps erroneously, referred to as Egon 'Connie' Mayer, for example, here:

for your question, yes, Egon Mayer was married. Hans Assi Hahn will be one of his witnesses.
