France May 18. 1940

I have had the luck to find two items, a newspaper and a big photo of a pilot, Ln. Henning Horstmann.
In the newspaper, there is a big article on the pilot with photo about his life and death. The latter during a reccon. flight in France 1940, May the 18 as a Fernaufklärer and pilot.

Henning Horstmann was born in Haderleben. I am not sure if he was danish, and he was one of the first members of HJ in '33.
He decided to join the Luftwaffe and became a Leutnant.
On a reccon. flight over France his plane, a Dornier 17, was attacked by french planes and he crashlanded his plane in enemy territory. In a attempt to escape he was shot and killed.
I would like to know, if anyone knows about his plane, Wnr. and codes, about the fate of rest of the crew.
Hope so much for assistance here.
Thank You
Christian
