Gottfried Dietze

Was Gottfried Dietze of JG 26 the same person as the political scientist Gottfried Dietze (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gottfried_Dietze), or were they two different people?
If they were different people, does anyone have any information about the pilot Gottfried Dietze (his date of birth, maybe that of death if he has already passed away, etc.)?

and described is carreer is in the wehrmacht,not a pilot of luftwaffe,i think was not the same person.
