Information on Uffz. Komposch

Hi,

Bought a portrait of a flyer with name of Hans Komposch with date of death 1942.

Does anyone have any information on him?

I have also found a Sterbebild that states he was a fighter pilot. Why would this be so misleading?

Great work as date obviously well wrong.
