Halifax bomber with/without overload fuel tank?
 

Hello,

Certain production batches of the Vickers Wellington were modified for being able to carry a 4000 lbs HC Cookie.

What about Handley Page Halifax bombers with overload fuel tanks? Has this been a 'field conversion' or was it a modification during the production process?

Air Britain's The Halifax File doesn't mention any details...
