Lothar Krall

Gentleman,

From Wikipedia in German,it said that Lothar Krall was born in 1924 and was Luftwaffe fighter pilot during WWII. After the war Krall became a German politician and was Oberst der Reserve of the Bundewehr. He flew helecopters for the Heersflieger. My questions are what Luftwaffe air unit did Lothar Krall flew with, the decorations he had won,and what was his final wartime rank of WWII?

Sincerely,

Edward L. Hsiao

Re: Lothar Krall

Hello,

It seems that he is not included in Henry L. deZeng IV and Douglas G. Stankey's excellent "Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries" and since Wikipedia states that he was a Leutnant, something doesn't match up.

Best wishes/Håkan
