Telopte-Thelepte?

German Kampfgeschwader losslists of January 1943 in the Mediterranean speak of a location "Telopte" which must be situated somewhere between Algiers and Libya. Is this identical with "Thelepte" location and airfield southwest from Kasserine,Western Tunisia?

It's Thélepte in Tunesia.

Have a look at the accompanying chart next to the text "Faïd Pass" - and look for "Thélepte" (just a bit to the SW of Kasserine.) In the text people speak of a battle with the Germans...
The Battle of Kasserine was around JAN 1943.
